VIM Vixen, the go-to online store for fashionable women’s clothing & shoes has teamed up with Multi-Platinum recording artist Remy Ma to unveil the Remy Ma by Vim Vixen collection set to release Fall 2018.
“I’m really excited about this collection with VIM Vixen, not only because it has my name on it and the clothing is fly but because of what it stands for,” states the “All The Way Up” rapper preparing for the release of her sophomore album 7 Winters and 6 Summers.
“V.I.M is a NY born brand, created initially for the people of NY, reflecting the swag that organically came from there – just like me. Now they’re spreading that throughout the world with ShopVimVixen.com and the new Remy Ma by Vim Vixen collection.”
“Whether walking down the streets of her hometown The Bronx or strolling the Red Carpet, Remy has an amazing style and versatility to dress for any occasion,” says V.I.M Director of Marketing & Advertising Michael LaSalle. “With her continued success in music, Remy Ma is expanding her brand by partnering with Vim Vixen to bring her signature fashion line to life.”
In addition to the release of this collection, proceeds of the sales will be donated to the Remy Ma Foundation, her charitable organization which provide opportunities and resources to enhance the lives of women who have experienced incarceration.
“I’m proud of this collaboration because it stands up for all women – especially women like me. The ones released from the prison system with a second chance but no start over point,” Remy Ma states. “For the ones who were never given any chances in life, but still make a way, every day. This is for you! It will provide a network that plugs women directly into their system of support, encouragement to keep going, to keep dreaming, to keep fighting for yourselves and your families and to keep loving your flaws and imperfections because that’s your magic.”
With Jordan Brand sitting front and center at the Nike family table, it’s always expected that the two sportswear stalwarts do in fact merge when it comes to design ideas. The latest collab? A fresh release of the classic Nike SB Dunk, constructed to look like the fan-favorite Air Jordan 11 “Bred” colorway. Talk about sibling resemblance.
The best skate shoe on the market looking like the illest basketball sneakers to go hard in the paint? This might sound like a bit of an oxymoron, but the mashup is just the right amount of wild to actually work. It really comes down to the execution of the patent leather — the placement has to be perfect in order to capture the same vibe of the AJ 11s. With the SB Dunks, the feat is pulled off successfully as the patent leather extends throughout the entire upper, heel and Swoosh, save for the mesh side panels and tongue. The translucent red sole is also done right, almost to the point where you’d need to do a double take if you saw these on someone’s feet walking down the street. Twinning!
The Bred 11-inspired Nike SB Dunk High colorway seen here is expected for a November release, but check out official photos below while more info arrives for the pricing and drop date:
It’s pretty clear knowledge that Japan has things on lock when it comes to fashion, and one brand that’s definitely making sure that testament rings true is GUESS GREEN LABEL. This small capsule of tees and sweaters incorporates black & white prints of the aforementioned icons, with each also including GUESS JEANS U.S.A. embroidery. Powell’s signature appears in the bottom corner of the print, adding an official stamp of approval that will have you looking like a moving exhibition. Rounding out the collection is a denim jacket and bucket hats in either black or white, each featuring co-branding from both parties involved.
Look out for the GUESS GREEN LABEL x Ricky Powell Collaboration Collection to arrive on August 25 at select Japan-based stockists, including monkey time.

Even though the eternal basketball champ Kobe Bryant hasn’t officially been on the court in over two years, his presence is still felt enough for Nike to give him another signature shoe. Hence, we now have the brand new Kobe A.D. silhouette.
Arriving here in a familiar purple hue — a clear nod to his days as a lifelong L.A. Lakers leader — the A.D. features an innovative Flywire upper with an added synthetic top layer. The slip-on construction adds for easy access as well, in addition to Lunarlon foam for cushioning, engineered tread, and black and yellow detailing to complete the look that really lets us know this is a Black Mamba exclusive. Go ‘head, G.O.A.T!
No word yet on when this Nike Kobe A.D. colorway — let’s call it “Exodus Purple” for now — is set to drop, but the OG “Sail” colorway is expected for Kobe Day (August 24). Check out a few more pics while we wait on the official release date info:
After an explosive interview with Funk Flex today, followed by a scorching-hot Twitter beef with ex-man/hype man Safaree that still might be going on at this very moment, Nicki Minaj has literally put all eyes in the rap world on the rollout of her new album, Queen. While beef and tea are always welcomed, especially around lunch time, the merch in support of the new album is worth checking out as well.
The seven-piece collection features tees, both long-sleeved and short-sleeved, and hoodies that feature album cover motifs and references to songs off the album. One in particular, not surprisingly, is dedicated to her smash hit single “Chun-Li,” featuring an animated version of Minaj dressed and ready for action like the Street Fighter II character that inspired the single. Another motif that stands out is a hoodie dedicated to her latest collaboration on the album with Future titled “Sir,” proving that this is a cool capsule set that queens and kings out there will enjoy. Well, maybe not Scaff Beezy after today!
Pick up all the pieces in Nicki Minaj’s Queen album merch capsule — including a super limited run of signed album lithos (seen above) — by heading to her official online store. Each item also comes with a digital copy of the album.
As fans of NY Yankees star Aaron Judge await to see how quickly he’ll recover from that wrist injury, the 2017 Rookie of the Year decided to bless diehards with a treat in the form of his brand new Oakley frames as the newest member of #TeamOakley.
Setting up shop at the NYC Oakley Store on Fifth Avenue last Friday (August 10), Judge took fans on a history of his lengthy relationship with Oakley — at age 11 he had custom-colored frames to match the colors of his first softball team uniform — and why he’s happy to be officially endorsed by the Cali-based sports eyewear brand. Of course, a few fans asked about his stats and recovery time when the Q&A came around, but all eyes were definitely on his custom “99” Radar® EV Pitch® frames, which feature the innovative PRIZM lens technology. It also didn’t hurt that all fans in the shop walked away with their own pair of Judge-stamped frames. We’ll just speak for everyone when we say this: thanks AJ!
Get a look at images from Aaron Judge’s in-store event below, and shop the Oakley Radar EV Pitch — customizing available, too! — by hitting up the Oakley online store.
