Fendi & FILA Come Together For a High-End Sportswear “Fendi Mania” Collection

Anticipation for the Fendi x FILA mashup has been at a high in the fashion world since the pieces debuted during Milan Fashion Week earlier this year, and now we’re finally getting a chance to get our hands on the collaborative set.

The “Fendi Mania” collection mixes the high-end taste of the former brand with the signature sportswear edge of the latter, which works in a way similar to what we saw MCM and PUMA doing not too long ago. The collection gets extra points for providing swag for men, women and children alike, featuring fleece options similar to what Fendi’s been promoting all summer long, classic tees, puffer jackets for the colder months and of course footwear to bring the FILA component full circle. If you’re one of those people that can seamlessly mix high and low styles with ease, this is definitely the collab you’ve been waiting for.

Pick up the “Fendi Mania” Collection right now at select Fendi stores and through the online shop. See the standout pieces in the lookbook below:

10 Ways To Celebrate the ‘Million Man March’ 23rd Anniversary In Style

Today we celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the Million Man March — a call to action led by Louis Farrakhan that brought Black men together by the masses across the nation at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The gathering was influenced by a plethora of issues affecting the African American community at the time, from the brutal police attack on Rodney King in 1991 to the racial divide that happened during the controversial 1995 OJ Simpson trial that concluded just a few weeks prior to the march. It created a strength, pride and personal responsibility to change the community for the better overall that helped sparked many movements thereafter, most recently the Black Lives Matter activation that we see today. It’s for that reason that we’ll always remember this monumental era in our culture.

Of course, one of the best ways you can commemorate the day is through style. Even if you weren’t there to witness it in-person, or alive for that matter, it’s never too late to show respect to one of the strongest movements in African American history.

Top Dawg and New Era are joining forces to collaborate on a new collection for Los Angles Lakers. They announced their collection which will introduce two new Low Profile caps with the TDE logo that is redesigned on them with the Lakers patch on the side. The hats come in two color schemes which are the Lakers signature colors, purple and cream, and yellow and black. The collection will go on sale on Monday, October 22 on the New Era and the TDE website, Lakers store in the Staples Center and TDE pop-up shops. They start out at $45. Hopefully, we will see the collection on players and potential fans as well.

With a successful year with the label, Kendrick Lamar has made a turnaround with quality music that has been out this past year. With a successful production soundtrack of Black Panther, that became No.1 earlier in the year, we sure they will have something that will drop before the year is up.
